Instructions

On this page we have collected some simple and short instructions and frequently asked questions on how to take a measurement with the Coala Heart Monitor.

Three basic rules for you and your Coala

  1. Before taking a measurement, sit down and relax for a few minutes for the best results. Take extra care to keep the Coala stable, be completely still and do not talk during the measurement.
  2. If Coala indicates an abnormal value, always take an extra measurement again, in a calm, relaxed environment, to further verify the result.
  3. Discrepancies can occur without anything being wrong. An abnormal result can occur, for example, in the case of a high pulse rate from physical activity or in connection with other factors. The important thing is to monitor your heart over time and it is only when you notice repeated abnormal results that you should normally take action.
